Virtual classroom session: March 6, 2020 through April 5, 2020 – This is our online virtual classroom environment. You will have 30 days to study the material and videos needed to pass the FAA 107 exam. You will be guided through the process by one of our FAA certified flight instructors.
In-class session: April 6, 2020, 8am to 5pm @ the Skyway 36 Drone Port, Tulsa Oklahoma – This is our FAA 107 in class review.
The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Aeronautical Knowledge Test for the Remote Pilot Airman Certificate is required to fly an unmanned aerial vehicle commercially (including public service). This is particularly required for any mutual aid use of UAVs. This online course contains all of the material tested for the 107 pilot’s license. The course is self-paced but follows a progression of information with due dates to aid in completing the material in a timely manner. Online instructors engage students to answer questions and help with test preparation. Common test questions and themes have been identified by former students and will be shared to increase focused study and student success rates.
•Students will learn, then demonstrate knowledge of the FAA Part 107 requirements
•Students identify UAS in the law enforcement service environment
Course Length: 30 days online / 1 day in classroom (8 hours)
CA POST Approval: #1287-20189-19 (16 hours POST credit total)
Cost/Tuition: $340 / $680 (includes FAA 107 exam fee)

About the Instructor
Skyway 36 is the Drone Port located directly next to the Osage Hotel and Casino (Tulsa). The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport and extends a discounted rate for LACRTC students. There are three restaurants located in the resort and quick access to downtown Tulsa.
